[2023-01-25] On January 25th, 2023, MedPacto, a genome-based drug discovery and clinical-stage biotechnology company announced that it had appointed Nam Park, as Executive Vice President.
Dr. Park is an international finance expert with an extensive global network of corporates and institutional investors. He previously served as Regional Head of Healthcare Research, Asia Pacific at HSBC, after which he was responsible for Aetas Global Markets’ global healthcare business, also based in Hong Kong. Dr. Park received his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Imperial College London, and was involved in medical research prior to entering finance.
With 25 years of experience in healthcare finance, Dr. Park has a strong track record in supporting overseas and domestic firms in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device fields in their international expansion. At Medpacto, he will focus on leading the Company’s overseas business development strategy including out-licensing pipelines and on raising the Company’s international investor profile.
